City of Fort Pierce Residential Rehabilitation Program

The City of Fort Pierce has launched its Residential Rehabilitation Program, providing financial assistance for eligible homeowners to make essential home improvements. Applications open on November 1, 2024, at 8:00 AM and close on November 25, 2024, at midnight. This $1 million program is funded by $717,020 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and $282,980 from the State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) funds for FY 2024-2025, aiming to enhance the quality of life for residents by supporting home rehabilitation efforts. Applicants must meet income eligibility requirements and attend a mandatory orientation session before submitting their applications. Registration for the orientation is available online, and proof of attendance is required for application review. Applications will be processed on a first-submitted, first-qualified basis, and funding is limited, so early submission is encouraged.
