Artists & Mothers Grant Program 2025-2026

The Artists & Mothers grant program offers $25,000 awards to New York City-based artists who are mothers with children under the age of three. These grants are designed to support childcare expenses, allowing recipients to continue focusing on their artistic careers during a critical time in their professional and personal lives. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to their practice and have an exhibition history. Artists working in the visual arts, performing arts, and socially engaged art forms are encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants must reside in one of New York City’s five boroughs, hold U.S. citizenship or permanent legal resident status, and have at least five years of professional experience in their artistic discipline. Awardees will be notified in April 2025, with the public announcement of recipients occurring in June 2025. Grant funds will be disbursed to recipients in September 2025.
