Grant Description

The Indianapolis Rotary Foundation is offering its 2025-2026 Community Grants to support charitable and educational activities, primarily serving Central Indiana. The Foundation's mission is rooted in promoting charitable and educational purposes within the state and other related initiatives as determined by its Board of Directors. This funding initiative underscores the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to enhancing community services and supporting impactful local organizations. The Foundation plans to award five community grants for the 2025-2026 cycle. Specifically, three grants will be offered at $25,000 each, while two will be granted at $10,000 each. These amounts may vary depending on the availability of funds and the strength of the submitted applications. Eligible organizations must predominantly serve Central Indiana residents. The Foundation emphasizes compliance with all application instructions to avoid disqualification. Applicants must submit their complete online applications by midnight on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Applications must be submitted in one sitting as the online form does not support progressive entries or saving for later. Additionally, applicants must email their most recent IRS Form 990 to jhanan@indyrotary.org. Upon successful submission, applicants will be redirected to a confirmation page, verifying the receipt of their application. Finalists will be notified by Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and will need to submit both their 501(c)(3) determination letter and a CPA-audited or reviewed financial statement by Wednesday, October 1, 2025. These documents must be compiled into a single PDF and sent to jhanan@indyrotary.org. As part of the selection process, Foundation board members will conduct site visits with each finalist organization to assess their operations and alignment with the grant’s purpose. Grant recipients will be announced by Monday, December 1, 2025. Upon receiving the award, recipients will be required to submit a Final Grant Report by a date specified in the award notification letter. The Foundation retains the right to modify the terms and conditions of the application process.
