Grant Description

The Veterans Engagement Mini Grant Program, offered by the Chesapeake Bay Trust, aims to support veterans’ groups and organizations engaging veterans in providing healing and therapeutic services, outdoor recreation, community engagement, and green jobs training. This grant supports activities such as outdoor meditation, adaptive camping, therapeutic green spaces, or stipends for green jobs and training. Eligible applicants include veteran’s groups and organizations serving veterans that are either non-profit organizations or municipal, county, regional, state, or federal agencies. The grant awards up to $5,000, with applications accepted on a rolling basis until funds are expended for the fiscal year. Match is encouraged but not required.
