Foundation Fast Grant

The 2025 Fast Grant Program, administered by Our Community Foundation, provides up to five grants of $1,000 each for small, one-time assistance projects that serve the people of Daviess County, Indiana. These grants are intended to meet unanticipated needs, capitalize on sudden opportunities, or support new and innovative projects that will positively impact the community. Applications opened with immediate availability and are due by May 1, 2025. The grants will be awarded quickly, with notifications by May 22, 2025. Applications must be submitted in PDF format, either electronically or by mail, using the provided fillable PDF form. Handwritten applications are discouraged to ensure clarity and professional presentation. Grantees must use the funds by December 31, 2025, and may be required to complete a follow-up grant report. Eligible applicants include existing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in good standing, government or quasi-governmental agencies applying for extraordinary projects not funded by tax revenue, faith-based organizations requesting funding for non-sectarian activities, and civic groups seeking support for a community cause. Grants must specifically serve Daviess County residents. Funding is not provided for annual campaigns, religious purposes, political activities, events occurring before grant decisions, school trips, debt retirement, or individuals (except for scholarships). Applications may be subject to interviews by the Foundation’s Grant Committee.
