Perry and Ruby Stevens Foundation Grant
This grant provides financial support to nonprofit organizations engaged in charitable activities that benefit communities in the Texas Hill Country.
The Perry & Ruby Stevens Charitable Foundation offers grants to qualified nonprofit organizations engaged in charitable and social welfare activities in Texas. Since 2006, the Foundation has focused on supporting initiatives that benefit communities within the Texas Hill Country. It provides financial assistance to eligible 501(c)(3) public charities that are not classified as private foundations under IRS section 509(a). Grants are geographically focused on the Texas Hill Country, and the Foundation demonstrates particular responsiveness to applications from this area. Organizations must demonstrate their tax-exempt status and the public charity classification to be eligible. The Foundation accepts proposals only from organizations meeting these criteria. Applicants are required to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) no later than two weeks prior to each quarterly application deadline. LOI approval is required before submitting a full proposal. Application deadlines for 2025 are January 3, March 21, June 27, and September 26. Trustee meetings, which coincide with decision-making dates, occur later in the same months. Though the award amounts are not publicly disclosed, grant funding supports a wide range of charitable endeavors aligned with the Foundation’s mission. There are no matching fund requirements. Interested applicants should allow sufficient time for LOI preparation and proposal development after invitation. Questions about eligibility or the application process should be directed to Mark Milton, Executive Director, at [email protected] or by calling (830) 896-0630. Applications and inquiries are processed at the Foundation’s office in Kerrville, Texas.
