Eligible La Verne businesses, including but not limited to retail establishments, restaurants and professional services, will: Be a for-profit business that is physically located in a commercial or industrial space in La Verne. Please note that home-based businesses are not eligible to participate at this time. Be in good standing with the city and have a current City of La Verne business license since at least 2019. Employ between one and 25 full-time equivalent employees; for example, two part time employees may equal one full time employee. Have experienced a mandatory shutdown or a substantial change in business operations as a result of COVID-19, including demonstrating financial hardship by showing that revenues were down during the pandemic when compared to 2019 levels.
