Grant Description

The Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation (RCCAAF) is currently accepting applications for its 2025–2026 Community Arts Grants program. This funding initiative aligns with the foundation’s mission to enrich the Rancho Cucamonga community by supporting, expanding, and advancing arts and cultural opportunities. Applications opened on May 9, 2025, and must be submitted by 4 p.m. on June 9, 2025. Successful applicants will receive award notifications later that same month. The funded projects must begin on or after July 1, 2025, and conclude by June 1, 2026. Eligible applicants include local nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status or confirmation of pending status, public schools located within Rancho Cucamonga, and individual artists or unincorporated groups applying through a nonprofit fiscal sponsor. Applicants may submit more than one proposal, and all proposed programs, events, or projects must occur within Rancho Cucamonga. Grants of up to $10,000 are available for a variety of projects, such as community-accessible arts events, public art projects like murals or installations, start-up support for new arts entities, and new school-based arts programs. Matching funds or in-kind support are encouraged but not mandatory. The grant funds are distributed in two or three installments, depending on the project's duration, with the final payment contingent on the completion of the project and submission of a final report. Projects that involve ongoing operational expenses, scholarships, fundraising events, or cash prizes are not eligible for funding. Recipients must acknowledge RCCAAF’s support in marketing materials and presentations. Applications are evaluated by a committee of five current board members who assess each submission based on criteria such as community need and impact, program goals and sustainability, budget detail, and project timeline. The application requires a narrative proposal of no more than six pages addressing key categories such as project goals, community need, and evaluation methods, accompanied by a one to two-page line-item budget. Additional required documents include proof of nonprofit status or school district verification, two letters of support (for individual or new applicants), board of directors or responsible personnel list, and a history of previous grants or projects if applicable. Questions about the grant can be directed to Leslie Matamoros, Community Programs & Marketing Coordinator, at Leslie.Matamoros@rccaaf.org.
