2025 Community Investment Grant
This grant provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in the Tulsa Metro area that deliver impactful community programs and demonstrate sound fiscal management.
The 2025 Cox Charities Community Investment Grant for the Tulsa Metro area supports nonprofit organizations that serve communities within Cox Communications’ Tulsa residential service areas. These grants, up to $10,000, are designed to help nonprofits deliver ongoing programs that meet community needs, demonstrate impact, and contribute to the overall well-being of local residents. The application period is currently open and will close on May 1, 2025. Eligible applicants must be tax-exempt under IRS code 501(c)(3), be physically located within the Cox Tulsa service area, and provide direct services to the community. Organizations must also exhibit sound fiscal management, conduct regular evaluation of their programs, and avoid duplicating existing services. Importantly, only one application per market is allowed—submitting multiple applications in one market will result in disqualification. Successful applicants will demonstrate that they are leveraging funding from additional sources, as Cox Charities will not fund programs for which it would be the sole financial supporter. Grants must support specific, ongoing programs. Applications for one-time events or special events will not be considered. The focus is on sustainable, impactful program work, not administrative overhead or general operating costs. The program does not fund athletic clubs, capital campaigns, endowments, pass-through grants, administrative salaries unrelated to programming, marketing or fundraising, political or religious programs, or individuals. To apply, organizations must complete the online application through the Cox Charities website. For assistance or questions, applicants may contact Bayli Scruggs at bayli.scruggs@cox.com.
