Individuals affiliated with an academic institution or university are required to partner with a local community-based organization to ensure funds are invested into the target community. This partnership should include collaboration on proposal development and, if funded, the community partner should contribute to or lead project implementation. The Community Partnership Program may limit the number of grants made to an organization in a single cycle or cumulatively.
