Grant Description

Established in 1976 by Dr. James MacCallum, the Foundation has funded a wide variety of local initiatives since 1977, with an emphasis on community-centered impact. Following a strategic planning process in 2023, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to two primary funding priorities: Educational opportunities for youth and adults Arts and cultural opportunities for youth and adults While these areas are emphasized, the Foundation remains open to other projects that demonstrate significant benefit to Wyoming County residents. Applicants proposing initiatives outside these priorities may still be considered, provided the proposals clearly demonstrate positive community impact. All applications must be submitted electronically through the Foundant Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM). Paper, email, or PDF applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. The total amount available for distribution in 2025 is approximately $32,000, with individual grants capped at $5,000. Funding notifications will be made in early June 2025. Approved grantees will receive their funds once they have completed and returned all required post-award paperwork and resolved any outstanding obligations from previous grants (if applicable).
