Mucosal Immunology Studies Team (MIST) (U01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a component of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), plans to release a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) titled "Mucosal Immunology Studies Team (MIST) (U01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)." Eligible applicants include a diverse range of organizations such as state and county governments, independent school districts, public housing authorities, Native American tribal governments (both Federally recognized and others), higher education institutions (public, private, and state-controlled), for-profit entities including small businesses, and nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) IRS status (excluding institutions of higher education). The estimated application due date is November 3, 2025, giving potential applicants ample time to form collaborations and develop their proposals.
