The flexibility this requires is made possible by charitable donors who established unrestricted or field-of-interest funds and place the decision-making in the hands of the community leaders serving on the Board of Directors as well as dollars raised by the Republic Community Foundation. Grant decisions for this program are made by the Republic Philanthropic Society (also referred to as The RepMO PHIL).  The Republic PHIL is excited to award grants to address priority needs in Republic – including the expansion of current programs and/or the creation of new services. Collaboration in this endeavor is encouraged, but not required. Grant proposals are accepted according to an announced time table, and grant recommendations are made as funds are available.
