The City of High Springs is accepting applications for its Residential Grant Program to help homeowners revitalize their houses. Funding Information The grant program provides 50/50 reimbursement for eligible improvements up to $5,000 to encourage and advance revitalization efforts. Eligible Improvements  Exterior painting of all exterior elevations on residence as well as their cleaning and preparation for painting. Repair siding of exterior walls on all elevations. Masonry and/or stucco repair and replacement. Installation, replacement, or repair of existing awnings or shutters. Repairing/replacing doors and windowpanes of residence. (Must meet current Florida Code. Repairing or reconstructing front porches and/ or stoops. Remedying exterior code enforcement violations. Repair or replace existing fencing.  Constructing or repairing accessibility ramps.  Roof repair or replacement (applicant must identify and document a need, example roof leak, tree damage, etc.)  Weatherization & Insulation Tree removal for trees causing damage to roof, utility lines, cracking foundation, or structural damage. Garage door(s) attached to living quarters.
