INSITE Fund Colorado Artist Grant 2025
This funding opportunity supports independent artists and collectives in Colorado to create innovative public art projects outside traditional venues, enhancing community engagement and understanding of visual art.
The INSITE Fund Colorado Art Grant is an annual funding initiative administered by RedLine Contemporary Art Center as part of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Regional Regranting Program. This grant provides independent artists and artist collectives working across all forms of visual media with the opportunity to receive funding for projects that take place outside traditional art venues. The program emphasizes innovation, audience engagement, and expanding the public’s understanding of visual art. For the 2025 grant cycle, applicants can request up to $10,000 per project, with a total of $60,000 available to be awarded across 6 to 12 projects. Eligible projects must be public-facing, occur within a 115-mile radius of Denver, Colorado, and take place outside museums, studios, and traditional galleries. The geographic boundaries include Norfolk to the north, Pueblo to the south, Akron to the east, and Wolcott to the west. The application opens on June 1, 2025, and the deadline to apply is July 18, 2025, at 11:59 PM MST. Grantees will be notified in September, with funds distributed in October, and projects must be completed within a 12-month period. Final grant reports are due by December 15, 2026. Applicants must submit information including the project title, lead artist contact, collaborators, project location and description, public accessibility strategy, timeline, and budget. The jury will evaluate proposals based on location, public engagement, innovation, collaboration, and overall artistic merit and execution. Artists with questions can contact Lares Feliciano, Art Grants Manager, at [email protected] or call 720-769-2390.
