Contra Costa County Community Development Block Grant

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program in Contra Costa County provides funding to improve housing, infrastructure, economic opportunities, and public services primarily for low- and very low-income residents. Sponsored by HUD, the program annually allocates funds to Contra Costa County as an eligible "Urban County," excluding the cities of Antioch, Concord, Pittsburg, and Walnut Creek, which operate their own CDBG programs. Applications will be available online starting October 9, 2024, alongside a kick-off meeting packet to provide guidance on the application process.
