The purpose of the DOL Building Pathways to Infrastructure Jobs Grant Program is to fund public-private partnerships to develop, strengthen, and scale promising and evidence-based training models in H-1B industries and occupations critical to meeting the goals of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and to maximize the impact of these investments. The United States (U.S.) will need a proficient workforce to fill the good-paying jobs created by this historic investment, and this grant program will train job seekers in advanced manufacturing; information technology; and professional, scientific, and technical services occupations that support renewable energy, transportation, and broadband infrastructure sectors. The DOL Building Pathways to Infrastructure Jobs Grant Program represents a down payment for the future skilled workforce needs that are being developed through the BIL investments by investing in the development and expansion of the workforce partnerships that will be needed to build equitable pathways to good infrastructure jobs.The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Grant Program serves dual purposes by implementing and scaling worker-centered sector strategies to support the workforce necessary for successful implementation of the BIL. Applicants must choose one of the following tracks for this grant program: 1) Development Track: Developing and Implementing Local/Regional Worker-Centered Sector Strategy Programs; or 2) Scaling Track: Scaling Effective Worker-Centered Sector Strategy Programs. The goal of the Development Track is to use promising training models to invest in and establish local/regional partnerships that will implement sector-based training programs across one or multiple infrastructure-related sectors. This track will support equitable participation and growth of worker-centered sector-based training programs, particularly those serving rural and smaller communities and historically marginalized, underrepresented, and underserved populations. The goal of the Scaling Track is to scale an existing training model to the statewide or national level, that has shown demonstrated success in one infrastructure-related sector. This track will invest in statewide and national partnerships that will set the stage to enable support and growth in evidence-based worker-centered sector strategies.Both tracks require public-private partnerships to develop workforce training programs which incorporate the following core principles into their grant project design to ensure equitable access to quality jobs: 1) strategies for ensuring diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility; 2) career pathways that lead to middle- to high-skilled employment; and 3) worker-centered sector strategies. The Employment and Training Administration (ETA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL, or the Department, or we), announces the availability of approximately $6,500,000 in grant funds authorized by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Section 167 for the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP), Housing Services. The period of performance is 51 months and starts July 1, 2024, and ends September 30, 2028. The NFJP model aims to connect eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their dependents to permanent housing that is owner-occupied, or occupied on a permanent, year-round basis (notwithstanding ownership). The permanent housing must be the persons primary residence to which they return to at the end of the work or training day. Additionally, the NFJP model aims to provide temporary housing that is not owner-occupied to eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers whose employment requires occasional travel outside their normal commuting area. The Department will award at least 70 percent of the funds for permanent housing.

Skilled and experienced older Americans, including veterans, will have the opportunity to put their talents and experience to use on a part-time to full-time basis. Enrollment in the program will not impact the retirement benefits of retired federal employees.Partnering with a qualified nonprofit organization(s) is a cost-effective human capital tool designed to obtain the services of experience workers aged 55 and older on a temporary basis through a cooperative agreement to assist the BOEM in reaching its priorities and strategic goals. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The U.S. Embassy Morocco is pleased to announce an open grant competition to award a cooperative agreement to organize the DigiGirlz Alumni Incubator Program. The Embassys Public Affairs Office invites proposals from established Moroccan associations, committed, and organized civil-society organizations to implement the "DigiGirlz Alumnae Incubator Program" which builds on prior U.S. investments in Moroccan women and girls, specifically through the long-standing DigiGirlz Mentorship Program. The DigiGirlz Mentorship Program was established in 2017 and more than 2000 alumnae have graduated from the program thus far. The DigiGirlz Alumni Incubator Program aims to further train and empower select alumnae of the DigiGirlz Mentorship Program, building upon their existing ideas and skills, and taking them from project ideation to implementation, through advanced training and mentorship, and providing them with unparalleled networking opportunities and seed funding for proposed start-ups. The program is poised to accelerate sustainable entrepreneurial initiatives that directly combat the climate crisis. Program Objectives: The programs goals and objectives are to: 1- Foster Women-Led STEM Innovation: The incubation program aims to significantly increase the number of women leading STEM-based startups and innovations. This is achieved by offering select participants targeted mentorship, as well as material, financial, and other support, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship and technology development. The focus is on encouraging young women to pursue careers in STEM and to become innovators and leaders in their fields. 2- Cultivate an Equitable STEM Startup Ecosystem: The program is dedicated to breaking down the barriers and biases that hinder women's participation in STEM entrepreneurship. Efforts will be focused on creating an inclusive and equitable environment within the STEM startup community. This involves providing tailored training and support to address unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in STEM fields, thereby promoting gender equality at the foundational level of business creation and growth. 3- Enhance Business Expertise and Employability in STEM: In addition to strengthening technical skills, the program places a strong emphasis on enhancing the business expertise of young women in STEM. This involves providing hands-on experiences in business plan development, project pitching, fundraising, and professional networking, all crucial for successful entrepreneurship. The goal is to increase the employability and business success of program participants, thereby ensuring they are job-ready and equipped to create and lead successful STEM enterprises. 4- Foster Climate Change Innovation and Leadership: The program aims to empower young women in STEM to develop innovative solutions to environmental challenges. By integrating climate change awareness and sustainable practices into the curriculum, the initiative seeks to cultivate a generation of female leaders who are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to address todays most pressing climate issues. This objective will encourage participants to apply their STEM expertise towards creating sustainable, eco-friendly technologies and strategies, thereby contributing significantly to global efforts in combating the negative effects of climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. The proposal should take into consideration a three-phased approach: 1) Advanced entrepreneurship training and dedicated mentorship for up to 60 DigiGirlz alumnae; 2) Quarterly networking events to foster collaboration and gain insights from professionals in relevant fields; 3) Final pitching competition resulting in award of seed funding of $5,000-$10,000 (more if additional funding is available) per project for up to 10 projects assessed to have the potential for lasting impact. The program implementation (fixed cost) of this program is estimated at between $50,000 to $70,000 USD. B. The curriculum for Leadership Essentials for Sustainability was developed in 2017 as an instructor-led training (ILT). This 16-hour site-based program has been requested through NICs technical assistance, and specifically focuses on the soft skills of leadership and behavioral attributes that are a necessity for leading others. The topics can be customized based on the needs of the agency and may include building teams that work; strategic delegation; ethics and integrity; leading and managing change; institutional culture; and effective communication. The topics. The training allows participants with the opportunity to start thinking about their leadership philosophy, and how they might enhance their leadership aptitudes such as empathy, trust, and active listening. Additionally, by developing and practicing competency-based leadership skills, they will be on the path to becoming their organizations future leaders.

Led by EPA Region 1, the Southeast New England Program (SNEP) is a geographically based program intended to serve as a collaborative framework for advancing ecosystem and community resiliency, protecting, and restoring water quality, habitat, and ecosystem function, and developing and applying innovative policy, science, and technology to environmental management. The program was created to help communities, Tribes, municipalities, government agencies and private organizations improve ecosystem health and build resilience to the unique water quality, habitat and climate stressors faced within southeast coastal New England watersheds, recognizing that the regions economy and community health are vulnerable and directly tied to the health of its ecological systems.The Mission of the SOAR Fund is to improve and support the resilience of disadvantaged communities throughout the SNEP region with meaningful community involvement as it relates to the design and implementation of projects to address the anticipated effects of climate change and the historic, long-term impacts of environmental and social injustices.
