Programming must engage youth in activities during times when they are not in school, including on weekends, after-school hours, and during the summertime. Programming must be either free or low-cost to youth participants. If low-cost, the proposal should demonstrate how programming minimizes cost barriers to access programs. Recipients may use YEP! funding to either create new programs or expand existing programs that are already offered.
