September Updates

Hello, friends of GrantExec!

As a productive summer draws to a close, we at GrantExec are taking a moment to reflect on our progress thus far and our vision for the future.

Thanks to your support, we’ve taken our first steps to democratize the grant-seeking process. We believe that by creating equitable access to grant opportunities and providing the right tools to secure them, we can empower people to make the world a better place– far beyond the limits of their personal networks.

As our readers know, grants are an excellent way to fundraise without trading away ownership of your organization. However, the traditional method of finding grant opportunities – by word of mouth – means that your funding prospects rely largely on the strength of your team's network. Consequently, organizations in communities without established funder networks often struggle to access a piece of the $1 trillion in grants disbursed from public and private sources each year, regardless of the quality or scale of their philanthropic activities.

To solve this problem, we’re building cost-efficient and comprehensive grant-seeking solutions that allow you to focus on the work that matters.

Product Updates:

We've enhanced our grant data collection processes: Instead of manually scrolling through internet searches, we've created systems that continually index active grant opportunities from all levels of government and the private sector to create a living database of active and forecasted funding opportunities.

But we haven’t stopped there– organizing grants into a single integrated database is powerful, but nonprofit and small business leaders don’t have the time to filter and vet each opportunity. That’s why we’ve built an intelligent matching algorithm that analyses each opportunity to determine which grants fit your goals and eligibility. We also pull public funder tax filings to give you key insights about potential partners and their giving tendencies. Our quality assurance team then vets each match to ensure your recommendations are accurate and include all information needed to create a compelling and compliant application.

Further, we understand that not all organizations have the resources to write their own applications. That’s why we’ve continued to grow our network of expert grant writers: experienced professionals with demonstrated grant-seeking success.

In addition to these ongoing projects, we are building an online user interface to allow customers to access all of our services in one place. Stay tuned for more updates.

Finally, a special shoutout to Software Engineer Trinity Kleckner, who joined GrantExec last month. She has quickly become an invaluable member of our team!

Respectfully,

Ryan & Team GrantExec
