A partnership of Akron Community Foundation and the Akron Beacon Journal, the Millennium Fund for Children supports arts, civic, education, and health and human services programs for children throughout Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark and Wayne counties. It makes grants where even a small amount can make a big difference.  The Millennium Fund for Children grants have enabled Red Oak Behavioral Health to provide mental health treatment to underinsured and uninsured children, supported diversity and inclusion workshops by the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio at Akron Public Schools and furnished the youth therapy room at the rape crisis center.
